About Camiguin Airport
Camiguin Airport is the only airport serving the island province of Camiguin in Northern Mindanao. It is located in Mambajao, the provincial capital, and connects the island to the rest of the Philippines primarily through flights to Cebu.
The airport was upgraded and reopened in October 2021, when its passenger terminal was expanded from a capacity of about 66 passengers to around 200 at any given time. The project also included a new administration building, fire station, and an asphalt overlay for the runway.
Sitting close to central Mambajao, the airport provides easy access to the island's beaches, hot springs, White Island sandbar, and other attractions. Onward travel is typically by tricycle, multicab, private transfer, or rental vehicle, with most destinations on the island reachable within a short drive.
As a compact domestic gateway, Camiguin Airport focuses on regional flights and offers straightforward passenger facilities designed for island travel.
