Brno-Tuřany Airport is the public international airport serving Brno, the second-largest city in the Czech Republic, and the wider South Moravian region. Located roughly 7.5 km from the city centre, it provides domestic and international connections for leisure and business travellers.
Its modern departure hall opened in 2006 and, together with the two-concourse terminal, handles passenger arrivals, departures, check-in and security for scheduled and charter flights. The building was designed by architect Petr Parolek.
The airport is connected to Brno by public bus services to the main railway station, as well as by taxis, private transfers, car rental and road links, making onward travel to the city centre and surrounding areas straightforward.
