Bacacheri Airport (BFH)

Bacacheri Airport is a general and executive aviation airport serving Curitiba, the capital of Paraná in southern Brazil. Located approximately 7 km from the city centre, it provides a convenient access point for private flights, air taxi, aeromedical, maintenance and specialised aviation services, while scheduled commercial passenger operations are handled by Afonso Pena International Airport.

The airport's history dates back to the early 1930s, when military aviation and the Correio Aéreo Nacional began using the site. It was transferred to Infraero in 1980, and regional passenger flights were later moved to Afonso Pena in 1997, after which Bacacheri focused exclusively on general and executive aviation. CCR Aeroportos began operating the airport in 2022 following a new concession.

The airfield has a 1,390 m asphalt runway and a general aviation passenger terminal of approximately 552 m², supported by hangars, maintenance providers, fuel facilities and vehicle parking. The surrounding Bacacheri district offers residential areas, parks and local services, keeping the airport well integrated with the city.

By road, the airport is normally reached in around 15 to 20 minutes from central Curitiba, with taxis, app-based rides and private transfers available for onward travel.
