About Argyle International Airport
Argyle International Airport is the main international airport serving St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Opened in February 2017, it replaced the former E.T. Joshua Airport and gave the country its first runway able to receive long-haul aircraft directly from North America and Europe.
Located on the eastern coast of St. Vincent near Argyle, the airport sits about 8 km from Kingstown. It handles international arrivals and departures alongside domestic flights connecting travellers to the Grenadine islands of Bequia, Canouan and Union Island through two terminals under one roof.
The airport is reached from Kingstown and other parts of the island by road along the Windward Highway, with taxis, private transfers, rental cars and bus services available for onward travel. Ferries to the Grenadines depart from the Kingstown waterfront.
Passenger facilities include restaurants, kiosks, duty-free shops, a VIP lounge, glass jet bridges and accessibility services. The airport also runs part of its operation on solar power, supporting its role as the country's primary travel gateway.
