Al-Jawf International Airport is the main airport serving Sakaka and the wider Al-Jawf region in northern Saudi Arabia. Established in 1974 as a domestic airport, it was redeveloped and inaugurated as an international airport in January 2026, increasing its annual passenger capacity to about 1.6 million.
The airport lies approximately 23 km from central Sakaka and provides domestic and international connections, including flights to Riyadh and Jeddah within Saudi Arabia and to destinations such as Dubai, Sharjah, and Cairo. The new terminal covers about 24,000 square metres and is designed to handle both domestic and international flights.
