Yuba County Airport is a publicly owned general aviation airport serving Marysville, Yuba County and the northern Sacramento Valley. It was activated in December 1943 and was licensed by the State of California as an approved airport in September 1949, and it continues to operate as a municipal airport and industrial park.
Located about three miles southeast of central Marysville, the airport provides facilities for private, business, charter and training flights rather than scheduled airline service. Its main runway is a 6,007-foot asphalt runway, supported by a shorter crosswind runway, and the airport has no control tower.
The airport is close to Marysville, Yuba City and Beale Air Force Base, making it a practical gateway for pilots and charter travelers visiting the region. Ground access is primarily by private vehicle, taxi, rental car or arranged transfer along local roads and nearby State Route 70.
