Yandina Airport is a small domestic airport on Mbanika in the Russell Islands, part of the Central Province of the Solomon Islands. It serves the settlement of Yandina and surrounding island communities and is one of the main access points for the Russell Islands.
The airfield dates back to the Second World War, when U.S. Navy Seabees built it in 1943 as Renard Field, also known as South Field. After the war it was developed for civilian use and now operates under the IATA code XYA with a single runway.
Located about 99 km northwest of Honiara, the capital of the Solomon Islands, the airport is reached by scheduled domestic flights operated by Solomon Airlines, with connections to Honiara and Seghe.
