Located about 1 mile northwest of Willow just off the Parks Highway, the airport serves as a base for private, charter and floatplane flying in the region. It is roughly 71 miles (114 km) north of Anchorage, with road access to Wasilla, Talkeetna and Denali National Park.
The airport operates a single gravel runway, 13/31, measuring 4,400 by 75 feet, together with an adjoining seaplane facility on Willow Lake. It is an unattended airfield without a control tower, and pilots use the common traffic advisory frequency.
