Wiley Post Airport is a general aviation reliever airport serving Oklahoma City and central Oklahoma. Built in 1942 and named in honor of pioneering aviator Wiley Post, it relieves general aviation traffic from Will Rogers World Airport and supports a large community of corporate, private and training aircraft.
Located roughly 12 miles northwest of downtown Oklahoma City, the airport is home to numerous aviation businesses, corporate flight departments and fixed-base operators. Its three runways and air traffic control tower handle a steady mix of piston, turboprop and jet traffic.
