About Walnut Ridge Regional Airport
Walnut Ridge Regional Airport is a city-owned public-use airport serving Walnut Ridge and northeastern Arkansas. It began as a World War II pilot training airfield in the early 1940s and now supports general aviation, business, and private flights as a regional gateway in Lawrence County.
Located about four miles northeast of central Walnut Ridge, the airport has a single small passenger terminal and lounge, three runways, aircraft parking and hangars, fuel services, and an on-site fixed-base operator. It does not offer scheduled commercial airline service.
