Tusi Army Heliport (HGT) is a U.S. Army aviation facility inside Fort Hunter Liggett in southern Monterey County, California. It sits about 3 miles northwest of Jolon and roughly 25 miles southwest of King City, and supports rotary-wing military training, medical evacuation staging and wildland firefighting operations in the surrounding area.
The installation has served as a military training area since the early 1940s. The heliport is named for Chief Warrant Officer Ronald L. Tusi, a decorated Army attack helicopter pilot, and operates a 570-by-50-foot concrete runway designated 14/32 along with associated helipads and a small ramp area.
Because this is an active military installation, access is restricted and all aircraft require advance approval. Ground movement beyond the airfield is typically arranged through Fort Hunter Liggett, with regional road links via Jolon Road toward King City, U.S. Highway 101 and other Central California locations.
