Located about three miles west of downtown Angola, it supports private, business and recreational flying for the surrounding tri-state area near the Michigan and Ohio borders.
The airport opened in April 1940 and is owned by the Steuben County Board of Aviation Commissioners. It operates a single asphalt runway, Runway 5/23, measuring 4,540 by 75 feet, along with apron, hangar and tiedown areas and an on-site FBO terminal and lounge.

Passenger services include a terminal lounge, free Wi-Fi, pilot facilities, fuel and aircraft services, with rental cars, taxis and private transfers available for continuing into Angola and the surrounding region.
