Tri-City Airport is a public-use airport serving Parsons and the neighboring communities of Coffeyville and Independence in southeastern Kansas. The facility traces its origins to a World War II-era auxiliary field and was activated as an airport in 1944. Today it functions as a general aviation gateway for Labette and Montgomery counties.
Located about 12 miles west of central Parsons, the airport has a single concrete runway, Runway 17/35, and one small passenger terminal. It supports private and business aviation rather than scheduled commercial airline service, and it is publicly owned by the City of Parsons.
