Tioga Municipal Airport is a public general aviation airport serving Tioga and Williams County in northwestern North Dakota. It opened in 1947 and has grown into an important aviation link for the region, particularly for business and energy-related travel.
The airport lies about two miles southeast of Tioga and supports private, business and charter flights rather than scheduled commercial passenger services. A new general aviation terminal opened in 2019, and the airport also offers an upgraded fueling system, expanded taxiway and apron areas, and GPS approach capability.
Tioga Aero Center, the airport's fixed-base operator, provides fueling, heated hangar space, maintenance, de-icing and rental cars for pilots and passengers. These services support travel across the Williston Basin and the wider Bakken energy region.
Road access connects the airport to Tioga and nearby communities, with Williston Basin International Airport located roughly 35 miles to the west for scheduled airline connections. Travelers can continue by car, rental car or arranged ground transportation.
