Tinker Air Force Base is a major U.S. Air Force installation located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Activated in 1942 and named for Major General Clarence L. Tinker, the base is home to the Oklahoma City Air Logistics Complex and the 72nd Air Base Wing.
