About Tillamook Airport
Tillamook Airport is a public-use general aviation airport serving the city of Tillamook and the surrounding Oregon coast. It is owned by the Port of Tillamook Bay and primarily supports private, business, charter and recreational flying rather than scheduled airline service.
Located about 3 miles south of central Tillamook, the airport has two asphalt runways: the 5,001-foot Runway 13/31 and the 2,911-foot Runway 1/19. The airfield has been in operation since July 1943 and provides aviation fuel, aircraft parking, tie-downs and hangars for local and visiting aircraft.
A compact FBO building on the west side of the field serves pilots and passengers with a waiting area, pilots room, restrooms and a conference room. The airport does not have airline terminals or scheduled passenger screening, reflecting its role as a general aviation gateway.
Ground transportation options include FBO courtesy cars, local taxi and rideshare services, car rentals and The Wave bus service, making it practical to reach Tillamook and nearby coastal communities.
