About Tehuacán National Airport
Tehuacán National Airport (TCN) is a small domestic airport serving Tehuacán, Puebla, and the surrounding Tehuacán Valley in central Mexico. It supports regional connectivity, general aviation and flight training alongside limited commercial operations.
Located about 5 km from central Tehuacán, the airport operates from a single-story passenger terminal with domestic arrival and departure facilities and a single asphalt runway designated 13/31. Its compact layout allows passengers to walk directly between the terminal and aircraft.
The airport has been part of Mexico's Aeropuertos y Servicios Auxiliares (ASA) network since 1970. Official operating hours are from 7:00 to 19:00, reflecting its role as a regional facility rather than a major hub.
Road access to Tehuacán is available by taxi or private transfer, and the short distance from the city centre makes the airport a convenient entry point for travelers visiting southeastern Puebla and the Tehuacán Valley.
