About Tebelian Airport
Tebelian Airport is the main airport serving Sintang and the interior of West Kalimantan, Indonesia. Built to replace the older Susilo Airport, it opened for commercial operations in April 2018 and was officially inaugurated in December 2021.
Located in the Sungai Tebelian district, about 14 km from the centre of Sintang, the airport connects the city with regional destinations and supports travel to surrounding regencies such as Melawi, Sekadau, Sanggau and Kapuas Hulu.
The airport has a single passenger terminal of about 2,000 m² and a 1,820-metre runway that can accommodate ATR 72 aircraft. It mainly serves domestic routes, including scheduled flights to Pontianak.
Passengers can reach the airport by road along the Sintang–Nanga Pinoh route, with taxis and private vehicles providing transfers between the terminal and Sintang city centre.
