Tavie Airport is a small domestic airstrip serving Paama Island in Vanuatu's Malampa Province. The airport is located near the village of Tavie in the northern part of the island and handles short domestic flights connecting Paama with Port Vila, the national capital.
The airport has a single grass runway of roughly 600 metres, suited to small aircraft. It is a simple airstrip rather than a full airport, with basic facilities, so travellers should plan ahead and keep luggage light. The island's main village and administrative centre, Liro, lies a short distance to the south-west.
As an island airstrip, Tavie Airport is reached mainly by domestic flights operated by Air Vanuatu; there is no road connection to Port Vila, which is about 140 km away by air. Visitors continue from the airstrip by local vehicle or on foot to villages such as Tavie and Liro.
