The airport sits beside the village on the northeast shore of Tatitlek Narrows in Prince William Sound, about 24 miles (38 km) southwest of Valdez and about 39 miles (63 km) northwest of Cordova. It has one lighted gravel runway, 12/30, and a seaplane landing area, 13W/31W, and serves air taxi and general aviation traffic rather than scheduled commercial flights.
