Tanjung Harapan Airport is the main airport serving Tanjung Selor, the capital of North Kalimantan province, on the island of Borneo. It functions as a domestic feeder airport connecting the provincial capital and the surrounding Bulungan region with other parts of Kalimantan.
The airport's development began in 1974 and it has since grown into a Class III regional airport. Its asphalt runway measures 1,600 metres and can accommodate ATR 72 aircraft used on scheduled routes such as Balikpapan and Tarakan.
