Tallahassee International Airport is the primary commercial airport serving Tallahassee, Florida's capital, and the surrounding Big Bend region. Opened in 1961, it connects the state capital to major airline hubs and supports business, government, university, and leisure travel.
Located approximately 7 miles southwest of downtown Tallahassee, the airport operates from a single passenger terminal building with Concourse A and Concourse B. American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, JetBlue, Silver Airways, and Breeze Airways provide nonstop service to several domestic destinations.
The airport is reached by car via Capital Circle SW, and passengers can use taxis, rideshares, rental cars, hotel shuttles, and pre-arranged transfers to reach downtown, Florida State University, Florida A&M University, and other points around the city.
