Taif International Airport serves the city of Taif and the wider Makkah Province as a key domestic and international gateway. The airport was established in 1976 and later gained international status in 2014.
Located approximately 27 km northeast of central Taif, it connects travellers to destinations across Saudi Arabia and a growing number of international routes. It also supports visitors travelling to Taif's mountain resort areas and pilgrims moving through the region during Hajj and Umrah seasons.
The airport has a main passenger terminal with separate domestic and international areas, and an additional international departure hall opened in 2024. Facilities include lounges, restaurants, cafés, duty-free shopping and car rental services.
