Subic Bay International Airport is a former U.S. naval air station that now serves the Subic Bay Freeport Zone and the nearby city of Olongapo in Zambales. Established as Naval Air Station Cubi Point in 1956, the site was transferred to the Philippine government in 1992 and later converted into a commercial international airport.
Located about 8 km from Olongapo city centre, the airport provides domestic and international connections for leisure and business travellers visiting Subic Bay, its beaches and the surrounding Zambales coast.
