Stuttgart Municipal Airport / Carl Humphrey Field is a public general aviation airport serving Stuttgart, Arkansas County and the Grand Prairie region. Located about seven miles north of Stuttgart, it supports private, corporate, agricultural and general aviation operations rather than scheduled airline service.
The airport opened in October 1943 and is owned by the City of Stuttgart. It has two runways: Runway 18/36, a 6,015-foot asphalt runway with an ILS approach, and Runway 9/27, a 5,002-foot concrete runway, together accommodating a range of light aircraft and business jets.
The Berry Administration Building houses the fixed-base operator and provides passenger and pilot facilities including lounges, a conference room, Wi-Fi and access to fuel, aircraft parking and T-hangars. Ground transportation is reached primarily by private car via Highway 63, with rental cars and pre-arranged transfers available at the airport.
