About Space Coast Regional Airport
Space Coast Regional Airport is the main general aviation gateway for Titusville and Florida's Space Coast. Built in 1943 by the U.S. Government to support World War II operations, the airfield was later returned to local control and transferred to the Titusville-Cocoa Airport Authority in 1961.
Located about five miles south of downtown Titusville and close to the Indian River, the airport is the nearest airfield to Kennedy Space Center. It offers direct access to Port Canaveral cruise terminals, Cocoa Beach and the beaches of Brevard County, serving private, corporate and general aviation traffic through a single general aviation terminal and a full-service FBO.
The airport is positioned near State Road 405, U.S. 1 and Interstate 95, with the Beachline Expressway (SR 528) connecting travelers to Orlando and the coast. Ground transportation options include car rental, taxis, private transfers and chauffeur services.
With two runways, an air traffic control tower and an FBO offering a passenger lounge, pilot facilities and Wi-Fi, the airport provides a compact and convenient entry point for visitors arriving for launches, cruises, business and leisure travel on the Space Coast.
