About Southwest Oregon Regional Airport
Southwest Oregon Regional Airport is the only commercial service airport on the Oregon coast, serving North Bend, Coos Bay and the wider Coos County region. Formerly known as North Bend Municipal Airport, it was renamed in 2006 to avoid confusion with the central Oregon city of Bend and is operated by the Coos County Airport District.
Located on Coos Bay about one mile from downtown North Bend, the airport offers daily United Express service to San Francisco and seasonal daily flights to Denver. A modern passenger terminal opened in 2008, replacing the original 1962 facility and providing a single concourse with two aircraft gates.
The airport is reached via Highway 101 and Virginia Avenue in North Bend, with free on-site parking close to the terminal. Taxis, shuttle services, rental cars and private transfers connect travelers to North Bend, Coos Bay and nearby coastal towns such as Charleston and Bandon.
