Also known as South Naknek Nr 2 Airport, it supports general aviation traffic for residents, fishing operations, and visitors moving through the Bristol Bay region.
The airport sits about one nautical mile southwest of the village centre and operates without a control tower. Its two gravel runways, 13/31 and 5/23, handle small aircraft, and runway edge lighting supports operations during dark or low-visibility conditions. An AWOS-3P weather station provides local observations for pilots.
Because the airport is unattended and has no scheduled airline service, most travelers connect by pre-arranged ground transportation to South Naknek and the surrounding communities. King Salmon Airport, the regional hub, is about 11 nautical miles east, and Naknek lies across the river.
