About Shun Tak Heliport
Shun Tak Heliport is a commercial heliport located in Sheung Wan on the north shore of Hong Kong Island, directly above the Hong Kong–Macau Ferry Terminal within the Shun Tak Centre. It provides scheduled helicopter connections between Hong Kong and Macau, offering a fast alternative to ferry crossings across the Pearl River Delta.
The facility has two helipads and a passenger lounge, with check-in and boarding handled in a compact terminal area rather than the multi-terminal layout of a conventional airport. Sky Shuttle Helicopters operates the Hong Kong–Macau route and has also linked Macau with Shenzhen.
Because it sits next to Sheung Wan MTR station and close to Central, the heliport is well connected to the rest of Hong Kong. Bus termini, taxi stands, minibuses and ferry piers are all nearby, making onward travel to Hong Kong Island, Kowloon and beyond straightforward.
Terminal Overview
Terminals
Shun Tak Heliport is a dedicated heliport rather than a conventional passenger airport, so it does not have multiple passenger terminals. Helicopter operations are handled from the heliport facility above the Hong Kong–Macau Ferry Terminal at Shun Tak Centre.
