Sherbrooke Airport (YSC) is a regional aerodrome serving Sherbrooke and the Eastern Townships region of Quebec. Located in Cookshire-Eaton, about 20 km east-northeast of downtown Sherbrooke, it operates primarily as a general aviation, private, corporate and charter gateway rather than a scheduled commercial airline hub.
The current airport site was selected in 1956 and the terminal was built in 1965. The airport has a single asphalt runway, 13/31, and a two-level terminal building. It is designated as an airport of entry for aircraft with 30 passengers or fewer, with customs and CANPASS-AIR services available by prior arrangement.
The airport lies roughly 45 km north of the United States border and is reached by road, about a 20 to 30 minute drive from central Sherbrooke. Travellers typically continue their journey by private vehicle, pre-arranged car rental or booked transfer, since the airport does not offer scheduled public transit.
