About Seletar Airport
Seletar Airport is Singapore's second airport and a key gateway for the northeastern region. Originally opened in 1928 as RAF Seletar, it was Singapore's first international airport and today focuses on general aviation, chartered flights, private aircraft operations and scheduled turboprop services.
Located in the Seletar area of northeastern Singapore, about 15 km north of the city centre, the airport is managed by Changi Airport Group and supports the Seletar Aerospace Park. It features a single 1,840-metre runway with 27 aircraft stands.
A new two-storey passenger terminal opened in November 2018, providing four check-in counters, six immigration lanes, two security screening stations and a gate holdroom for about 200 passengers, along with arrival immigration, baggage claim and a meet-and-greet hall.
Seletar Airport is connected to the city by taxi, private transfers and public bus 102, which links the terminal to Sengkang, Buangkok and Hougang MRT stations. With compact facilities and a quieter terminal experience, it offers a convenient alternative gateway for travellers using the northeastern side of Singapore.
