San Vicente Airport (SWL)

San Vicente Airport is the air gateway to San Vicente and the northwest coast of Palawan. Opened for general aviation in 2017 and inaugurated in 2018, the airport was built to support tourism growth in the area and to provide a closer alternative to El Nido Airport for travelers heading to Long Beach and nearby coastal destinations. The airport sits about 3.8 km from San Vicente town center and operates through a compact single passenger terminal with a 1,612-meter concrete runway. It mainly handles domestic and charter flights, with connections from Manila as well as charter services to Puerto Princesa and Busuanga. By land, northwest Palawan has traditionally been reached from Puerto Princesa, around 186 km away, in roughly three hours; the airport shortens that journey significantly, with flights to and from the provincial capital taking under 30 minutes. Travelers arriving at SWL can continue to San Vicente town, Long Beach, Port Barton and other Palawan destinations by van, tricycle, taxi, hotel shuttle or pre-arranged private transfer.
