San Felipe International Airport serves the coastal town of San Felipe on the Gulf of California in Baja California, Mexico. It is located about 11 km south of the town centre and is one of three international airports in the state of Baja California, alongside Tijuana and Mexicali.
The airport has a single asphalt runway, designated 13/31, and a single-story passenger terminal. It primarily handles general aviation, executive aviation and flight training. Between 2014 and 2016, seasonal cross-border flights to San Diego operated by SeaPort Airlines briefly gave the airport scheduled service, but it has since returned to a general aviation role.
Because there is currently no scheduled commercial service, most travelers reaching San Felipe by air arrive through Mexicali or other nearby airports and continue by road. The airport remains convenient for private pilots and small aircraft arriving directly in the San Felipe area.
For visitors already in the region, the airport is reached by road south of San Felipe, with taxis, private transfers and rental cars available for the short journey into town and onward travel along the Gulf of California coast.
