San Antonio Copalar Airport (CJT) is a small airfield near Comitán de Domínguez in the Chiapas highlands, close to San Cristóbal de las Casas, the Lagunas de Montebello and the Guatemala border. Scheduled commercial flights are not currently offered, so most travelers reach the region through Tuxtla Gutiérrez and continue by road to Comitán and nearby towns.

About San Antonio Copalar Airport
San Antonio Copalar Airport (CJT) is located south of San Antonio Copalar, about 7 miles (11 km) southeast of Comitán de Domínguez in Chiapas, Mexico. Originally known as Comitán National Airport, it once served as the civil airport for Comitán before scheduled commercial flights were suspended in 2003 due to low demand.
The site now operates as Copalar 17th Air Force Base, a Mexican Air Force installation used for military, government and emergency operations. It has a paved runway of about 1,800 metres and is not served by regular commercial airlines.
For most travelers, the region is reached through Tuxtla Gutiérrez International Airport, with onward road travel to Comitán, San Cristóbal de las Casas, the Lagunas de Montebello and other destinations in the Chiapas highlands. Comitán itself is a short drive from the airfield.
Although CJT is not a public passenger airport today, it remains a notable airfield in southeastern Chiapas, close to the Guatemala border and the area's highland attractions.
