Roxas Airport (RXS)

Roxas Airport is the primary domestic airport serving Roxas City and the province of Capiz on the island of Panay in the Philippines. Its single-story passenger terminal opened in 1957 and has since been expanded to handle growing passenger traffic to and from the region.

Located about two kilometres north of central Roxas City, the airport connects Capiz to Manila through scheduled flights operated mainly by Cebu Pacific and PAL Express. The compact terminal is organized with the east wing for departures and the west wing for arrivals, making the passenger flow simple and easy to navigate.

The airport is close enough to the city centre to be reached quickly by tricycle or taxi, and private transfers, vans and rental cars are also used for onward travel to hotels, nearby towns and coastal areas around Panay.

Passenger facilities include check-in counters, security screening, a children's lounge, a clinic, souvenir shops and Wi-Fi, while a cargo terminal supports airline operations. As a small regional gateway, the airport offers a convenient entry point for travelers exploring Capiz and the wider Western Visayas region.
