Roosevelt Municipal Airport is a public-use general aviation airport serving Roosevelt and the Uintah Basin in northeastern Utah. Opened in October 1975 and owned by the City of Roosevelt, it supports private, business and charter flying for the region.
Located about three miles southwest of downtown Roosevelt in Duchesne County, the airport has a single 6,501-foot paved and lighted runway, instrument approaches and automated weather reporting. It primarily serves general aviation rather than scheduled airline service, accommodating small piston aircraft as well as midsize business jets.
The airport plays an important role for energy-sector business aircraft, medical and emergency flights, and other regional aviation activity. Its facilities include fuel, hangars, tiedowns and aircraft maintenance services.
