About RAF Waddington
RAF Waddington is a Royal Air Force station located beside the village of Waddington, about 7 km south of central Lincoln in Lincolnshire, England. Opened in 1916 as a Royal Flying Corps training station, it has been used for military aviation for more than a century.
Today the station is best known as a hub for the RAF's intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition and reconnaissance operations.
