RAF Marham is a Royal Air Force station in the county of Norfolk, England, and the main operating base for the UK's F-35B Lightning fighter fleet. Opened in 1916 to defend against Zeppelin raids and redeveloped into a permanent RAF station in 1937, it has a long history of military aviation including bomber, tanker and Tornado operations.
The station is located about 21 km southeast of King's Lynn and roughly 59 km west of Norwich, in the rural East Anglia countryside near the Sandringham estate. As a working military airfield, it is not open to general public passenger traffic, and access is limited to authorised military, Ministry of Defence and approved civilian personnel.
