About Puka-Puka Airport
Puka-Puka Airport is the only airfield serving Puka-Puka atoll, a remote island in the Tuamotu archipelago of French Polynesia. It provides domestic air links for the small community of Teonemahina and is served by Air Tahiti flights connecting the atoll with Papeete and other Tuamotu islands.
The airport lies about 3 km northeast of Teonemahina and has a single asphalt runway plus a small passenger terminal. A new terminal entered service in 2025, replacing the previous structure and improving passenger comfort and accessibility.
Because the atoll is small and sparsely populated, ground transport between the airport and the village is short and usually arranged locally. Visitors should confirm flight and transfer arrangements in advance, as services are limited.

Terminal Overview

Terminals
