Apataki Airport is a small domestic airport serving Apataki Atoll in the Tuamotu Archipelago of French Polynesia. It provides Air Tahiti turboprop connections to Papeete and other atolls, making it the main air access point for this remote atoll.
Located about 200 metres southwest of Niutahi village centre, the only village on Apataki, the airport sits close to the settlement and near the lagoon. The facility consists of a single basic passenger terminal and a paved runway of about 870 metres.
The airport mainly supports residents, pearl-farming workers and visitors heading to small family-run pensions and lagoon activities. Because flight frequency is limited, arrivals and departures follow Air Tahiti schedules, and transfers are usually coordinated through local accommodations.
