Tureia Airport is the small public airport serving Tureia, a remote atoll in the Tuamotu Archipelago of French Polynesia. Opened in 1985, it provides the atoll's only regular air link with the rest of the territory.
The airport sits close to Hakamaru, the only village on Tureia, and handles domestic flights operated by Air Tahiti, primarily between the atoll and Papeete on Tahiti. A single asphalt runway, aligned 18/36 and measuring about 1,300 meters, and one compact terminal building support all passenger operations.
There is no regular shuttle service at the airport, and road access on the atoll is limited, so onward travel to the village, guesthouses and lagoon areas is usually arranged with local drivers or accommodation hosts in advance.
