Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz International Airport is the main airport serving Tabuk, the administrative capital of Tabuk Province in northwestern Saudi Arabia. It handles domestic connections and a growing number of international flights, making it an important gateway for northern Saudi Arabia.
The airport began as a dirt airstrip in the early 1970s and was developed into a military base in 1978. In 2011 it became an international airport separate from the base and was named after Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, with an annual capacity of around 1.5 million passengers.
Located about five kilometres from central Tabuk, the airport is reached by road via the main Tabuk–AlUla highway. Taxis, VIP transfer services and rental cars are available at the terminal for the short journey into the city and onward travel across the region.
Passenger services are concentrated in a single terminal, with check-in, security and customs on the ground level and lounges, shops, restaurants and cafés above.
