About Prescott Regional Airport – Ernest A. Love Field
Prescott Regional Airport – Ernest A. Love Field is a small commercial and general aviation airport serving Prescott and the surrounding communities of Yavapai County in north-central Arizona. It provides nonstop United Express service to Denver and Los Angeles, connecting travelers to United Airlines' domestic and international network.
The airport was dedicated as Ernest A. Love Field in 1928 and is named for First Lieutenant Ernest A. Love, a Prescott-area World War I pilot. A new passenger terminal opened in March 2021, replacing the older facility and adding a modern waiting area, updated security processing and improved baggage handling.
PRC sits about 7 miles north of downtown Prescott and is reached primarily by car, taxi, rental car or private transfer. Free passenger parking, including long-term parking, and on-site Avis and Budget rental car desks make it convenient to continue into Prescott, Prescott Valley, the Verde Valley or other northern Arizona destinations.
