Philip Municipal Airport is the public airport serving the town of Philip and Haakon County in west-central South Dakota. Activated in December 1937, it is a publicly-owned general aviation facility located about three miles east of town along US Highway 14.
The airport has a 3,998-foot lighted asphalt runway and a turf runway, and it supports private, business and agricultural aviation in the region. There is no scheduled commercial passenger service or control tower, and the field is unattended.
Facilities include a 24-hour pilot lounge with telephone and restrooms, 100LL fuel available by credit card, a courtesy car into Philip, and hangar and tie-down space. The airport sits roughly 90 miles east of Rapid City and 90 miles west of Pierre.
