About Penzance Heliport
Penzance Heliport is the mainland base for scheduled helicopter flights between West Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. Opened in March 2020, it restored a direct rotary-wing link to St Mary's and Tresco, giving Penzance a modern gateway to the islands.
Located just off the A30, about 2 km northeast of Penzance town centre, the heliport handles year-round services operated by Penzance Helicopters using Sikorsky S76 aircraft. Flights to the Isles of Scilly take around 20 minutes and connect onward to St Mary's, Tresco, St Martin's, Bryher and St Agnes.
The heliport has a single terminal building, on-site parking for around 270 vehicles, EV charging points and Café Roselló. A pre-booked electric shuttle bus links the site with Penzance rail station in about five minutes, while taxis and private transfers are available for travel around Penzance and West Cornwall.
