Pembina Municipal Airport (PMB) is a public-use general aviation airport located about one mile south of the central business district of Pembina, North Dakota. Opened in 1938, it serves private pilots, business aviation and the communities of northern Pembina County near the Canada-US border.
The airport operates a single asphalt runway, 15/33, measuring about 3,798 by 75 feet, and functions as an uncontrolled airfield without a control tower. It is also designated as an international airport of entry, allowing private aircraft to clear U.S. customs when arriving from Canada and other international points.
Pembina Municipal Airport sits along the Interstate 29 and U.S. Highway 81 corridor, roughly a five-minute drive from Pembina and south of Winnipeg, Manitoba. Grand Forks, North Dakota, is approximately 70 nautical miles to the southeast, making PMB a useful general aviation stop for cross-border and regional flights.
The airport provides 100LL aviation fuel, hangars, tiedown parking and aircraft maintenance through its fixed-base operator, Nord Aviation.
