Pama Airport (XPA)

Pama Airport is a small public airfield serving Pama, the capital of Kompienga Province in Burkina Faso's Est region. It lies about 2 km northwest of central Pama and primarily supports regional and general aviation in the country's southeast.

The airport has a single grass runway and compact passenger facilities, reflecting its role as a local airfield rather than a large commercial hub. It provides an air connection point for Pama and surrounding communities, while most intercity travel continues by road toward Fada N'Gourma and Ouagadougou.

Pama is located roughly 100 km south of Fada N'Gourma, the regional capital, and about 270 km southeast of Ouagadougou. The airport is reached by road from the town centre, and onward journeys are typically made by private vehicle, taxi or pre-arranged transfer.

Although facilities at the airport are basic, its position close to Pama makes it a practical entry point for travellers and organisations moving through the Est region and toward Burkina Faso's southeastern border areas.
