Palmyra Airport is a small airport serving Palmyra (Tadmur) and the surrounding Homs Governorate in central Syria. Formerly known as Tadmur Airport, it lies just east of the city and provides access to one of Syria's most significant archaeological sites.
The airfield is primarily used for military purposes, with a single asphalt runway designated 08/26 and limited civil passenger facilities. It sits at an elevation of about 403 metres and serves the Palmyra region, including the nearby desert areas and the route towards Homs.
