Page Field (FMY) is the general aviation airport serving Fort Myers and Lee County, Florida. It acts as the FAA-designated general aviation reliever airport for Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW), handling private, charter and business aircraft closer to the city centre.
The airport has a long aviation history. The City of Fort Myers acquired the land in 1923, the field served as a World War II training base, and it later operated as the region's commercial airport until Southwest Florida International Airport opened in 1983. A modern general aviation terminal and FBO, Base Operations at Page Field, opened in 2011.
Page Field is located roughly 3 miles south of downtown Fort Myers, putting Cape Coral, Fort Myers Beach, Sanibel and Captiva within convenient reach. The airport has two runways and supports a range of general aviation activity, including business travel, recreational flying and flight training.
