Ozark Regional Airport serves Mountain Home and Baxter County in north-central Arkansas. It is a county-owned, public-use airport located about 5 miles (7 km) northwest of downtown Mountain Home. The facility is also known as Baxter County Airport and was formerly called Baxter County Regional Airport before its renaming.
The airport has a single asphalt runway and primarily handles private, charter, and general aviation traffic. Historically, the airport supported commercial service to Dallas-Fort Worth, but today it functions mainly as a convenient base for business, recreational, and regional flying.
